Hi friends! Recently I submitted this card for a Simon Says Stamps Challenge Humorous/Fun Card. I received so many questions about my creation that I decided to show you how simple and fun was to create it.
- First thing I did was my background. There are so many so many possibilities but what is important is that you have fun doing it. This time I used distressoxide sprays on wilted violet, crackling campfire and hickory smoke. Once happy, I heat dry it and applied my stencil with distress oxide ink crackling campfire. As you can notice I did not apply my stencil to the full page, this gives more dimension and interest.

My background
- For the next step I use my die and stamp combo of the crazy dogs and colored them with distress crayons using the water color technique. The colors I used are vintage photo, pumice stone, black soot and walnut stain.

- Next I proceeded to emboss my bats and saying with hickory smoke embossing glaze. The bats were cut from Sizzix Thinlits Bat Crazy set on black stock paper and I used clear embossing ink.

- I painted and fuzzy cut the fangs and cape for my doggy Dracula and place him over stained fringe. And yes I used distress oxide sprays for this!

I hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial and please send me a message if you have any questions.
